The Redwine Boys Update

 

Oh, please forgive me,I have not been very tentative to my BLOG duties! Most of you guys get the daily update on Face Book but, here are the details that I have not posted for all to read!
Since Christmas, yes, it has been that long..sorry, we all settled back into our daily routine of work, school and play. Owen has been at Buford Pres. since September and I am finding out that he has not been, well lets just say, Owen is not a angel. Don't let the dimples fool you, I think Christopher Freeman also has dimples, I am starting to see a trend! (LOL, family joke). We are working on; NO biting, No hitting and No pinching, oh yeah and potty training. Yes, Owen does great at home, most of the time, but he is having some issues when things are not going his way in a group setting. He did have a really good day today, I hope he keeps up the good work. He has shown some interest in potty training so, I thought we should add that to the mix too! He is working on his vocabulary and he is saying new things everyday...he sang his ABC's yesterday and is doing pretty good.

Dalton is almost 1! Can you believe it? And, Dalton took his first step on Valentine's day. I am home with him everyday and of course the 3 hours I was away for Christina's baby shower he decided to take his first steps..to Mike! What the heck, I missed it. That's par of the course, I was at a shower when Owen took his first steps too! Our baby is growing up and getting bigger...Owen and Dalton weigh the same, yes a chuck of love! He is off the bottle and is on to sippy cups. Wow, After 2 1/2 years my first accomplishment, NO MORE BOTTLES! With all of the baby "Stuff" my house was overflowing, ever since Christina told us that she has been expecting there has been a direct shuttle of baby paraphernalia sent her way, car seat, swing, bouncy seat,toys, bottles and anything else you could imagine... I am doing my part by recycling.
Mike is still working a lot, and I am not complaining. Single parenthood is not what I signed up for BUT he is doing a great job for us at work:)! He did have a chance to sneak away on a boys trip with my dad and brothers. It sounds like they had a great time and I know they ALL needed a break from their normal routines!
Well, as for me, I have been busy. Owen and I just took a short trip to the beach and to Disney with my best friend from high school, Dusty, and her two boys. We had a great time. Dalton stayed with Grandma Sue for 5 days and did great. This was the first time that I had been away from Dalton more than more night...we survived!
With all of my spare time, LOL, I decided to start selling Silpada jewelry! I thought I needed a "Girlie" thing to do with all of the boys around here!
