Setting Goals

I wanted to set some goals for my new life as Mama of two little boys! I have been talking to some friends of mine that are experienced moms and I have been told to, Treat this like a job. So, I have decided to start blogging. My goal is send out new pictures and let everyone know what is going on in our lives. So far, it has been a comedy act.
Dalton is 8 weeks so I am up during the night with a feeding schedule and diaper changes...I am chasing Owen, almost 20 months, during the day. He is discovering new things and trying to talk.
I am glad to say that I have tried to get back into the swing of things by playing tennis and going to social outings with my friends...my social outings are 4 year old birthday parties, this month. So far, I have played and WON my tennis matches while once wearing my tennis skirt backwards...no one said anything to me, what good friends I have! I went to a 4 years old birthday party and was complemented on how pretty I looked by my friend Brody, also 4 years old...he did not notice that I was wearing two different flip-flops! So, needless to say, I hope things get better before I have a major wardrobe malfunction in public!
Mike is doing well, he is working a lot so he falls asleep before Owen when he is home. I could qualify for single-parent status but I have to give a big THANK YOU to my mom and mother-in -law for helping me out! Thank God for Mothers!
Well, I hope this gives you a little insight of what is going on in our world...Dalton's announcements will be going out soon!

Michelle, you are doing a wonderful job in your new role as FTM. Dalton has already been to the beach more than most people go all year, Owen is talking up a storm and as long as you dont walk outside with your tennis skirt stuck in your drawers I think your doing great:). Remember to make some time for yourself so that you dont go crazy and give yourself time to adjust to this, its alot of change at once (all this coming from someone who's not a mom and constantly forgets to check Dalton's diapers when he is screaming his head off).... maybe you shouldn't listen to me.. take care and keep up the blog. Its a nice diversion from my crazy job.
